Step 1: Where to Start

1. Log into your HighLevel account
2. Click on Sites > Settings > Domains
   (Pro Tip: Bookmark this page – you’ll need it later for other setups too)

The Easy Way Out (For Most People)
Works with: GoDaddy, Google Domains, Cloudflare

If your domain is with one of these providers:

1. Click “Connect a Domain”
2. Pick what you’re connecting (website, email, etc.)
3. Hit “Authorize”
4. Log into your domain provider when prompted
5. Approve the connection
6. Boom – done in 2 minutes flat

The Manual Method (When You Have To)
For Namecheap, Bluehost, and other providers

1. In HighLevel, grab the DNS records (they’ll show you exactly what to copy)
2. Open a new tab and log into where you bought your domain
3. Find DNS Settings (usually hiding under “Advanced”)
4. Add the records exactly as shown
5. Save and wait (could take a few hours)

(Protip: Take screenshots before changing anything – trust me on this one)

When Things Go Wrong (Because They Will)

➤ “It’s not working!”

• Did you remove old settings? Previous connections can block new ones
• Check for typos – one wrong character breaks everything

➤ “My emails still go to spam”

• You probably missed the TXT records – go back and double-check

➤ “Stuck on ‘Pending’ forever”

• DNS changes can take time (but shouldn’t take more than 24 hours)
• Still stuck? HighLevel’s support chat is surprisingly helpful
